Presagia Introduces Best-Practice Employee Leave Software Solution

To simplify the complex management of leave

Montreal, Canada, February 25, 2008 - Presagia Corp., a leading developer of innovative software solutions for integrated absence & disability management, today announced the introduction of a Leave Management module in Presagia AtWork, its comprehensive Absence & Disability Management solution. This new module will enable organizations to integrate the management of employee leave policies for more efficient and compliant administration.

Currently employers and their TPAs (Third Party Administrators) struggle to administer a multitude of government and organization-specific leave policies, including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), Workers’ Compensation, STD (Short-Term Disability), LTD (Long-Term Disability, and PTO (Paid Time-Off). This problem led Presagia to expand its absence and disability management solution to include a best-practice leave management module.

When designing this solution, Presagia recognized that a key factor to its success would be the ability to easily tailor it to the unique requirements of each client. As such, Presagia maximized the configurability of the system, allowing organizations to add-in their own specific procedures for managing each type of leave. This configurability extends to triggers, notifications, wizards and other process automation and decision-support tools that can be leveraged to streamline workflows, improve compliance and promote informed decision-making.
